CyclusHub ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Vaultara handles your information.

🛡️ Key Point: Vaultara is a fully offline application. Your personal data (documents, images, reminders) never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data You Provide (Stored Locally)

When using Vaultara, you may store the following types of data locally on your device only:

1.2 Data Collected by Third-Party Services

Vaultara uses the following third-party services that may collect limited data:

⚠️ Note: Ad data collection only applies to Free plan users. Basic and Premium users have zero ad-related data collection since ads are completely removed.

1.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

❌ Usage analytics or behavior tracking
❌ Any data transmitted to our own servers

2. How We Use Your Data

All locally stored data is used solely for the app's core functionality:

Displaying your stored documents and reminders
Sending local notification reminders
Generating PDF exports on your device (Premium plan)
Creating encrypted backup files on your device (Basic & Premium plans)
Restoring data from backup files (Premium plan)

3. In-App Purchases

Vaultara offers optional in-app purchases (Basic and Premium plans) through Google Play Billing:

All purchases are one-time payments — no subscriptions
Purchase transactions are processed entirely by Google Play
We do not collect or store your payment information
Your plan status is stored locally on your device

4. Advertisements

Vaultara displays advertisements to Free plan users through Google AdMob:

Banner ads: Shown at the bottom of screens
Interstitial ads: Shown occasionally after certain actions (rate-limited)

Ad serving is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device's Google Settings.

🚫 No Ads for Paid Users: Both Basic (₹149) and Premium (₹299) plans completely remove all advertisements. No ad-related data will be collected for paid users.

5. Data Storage & Security

🔐 Encryption: All backup files are encrypted using AES-256 military-grade encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation.

Data is stored in Android's internal app storage (sandboxed)
Images are saved permanently in app's private directory
No cloud storage or external transmission
Backup files use AES-256 encryption
Biometric data (fingerprint/face) is handled entirely by your device's secure hardware — Vaultara never accesses or stores biometric data

6. Permissions We Request

7. Data Sharing

We do NOT share your personal data with any third parties. The only third-party services used are:

Google AdMob — for displaying ads to Free plan users (governed by Google's privacy policy)
Google Play Billing — for processing in-app purchases (governed by Google's privacy policy)

⚠️ Note: When you use the "Export" feature, a backup file is created on your device. If you choose to share this file externally, you are responsible for how it is transmitted and who receives it.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data persists as long as the app is installed
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all stored data and preferences
You can delete individual items at any time within the app
Exported backup files remain until you manually delete them
Your purchase status may be recoverable through Google Play after reinstallation

9. Children's Privacy

Vaultara does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require any personal identification to function.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app with an updated "Last Updated" date.
