CyclusHub ("we", "our", "us") is dedicated to protecting your personal privacy. This Privacy Policy details how Vaultara collects, uses, stores, and protects your information.

🛡️ Core Privacy Guarantee: Vaultara is built on a Local-First & Offline-First architecture. Your personal documents, photos, medicine logs, expiry reminders, and subscription details are stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate external proprietary databases that store your personal records.

1. Information We Handle

1.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

When you use Vaultara, the following data is saved inside your device's private, sandboxed app storage:

1.2 Cloud Sync & Google Drive (Optional)

For users on Premium or Lifetime plans who choose to activate Google Drive Cloud Sync:

Sync is strictly optional and requires your explicit Google account sign-in.
Backup archives are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before being uploaded to your private Google Drive storage.
Vaultara only accesses its own dedicated app folder or files created by Vaultara. We never access, read, or modify any other files in your Google Drive.
CyclusHub does not host an intermediate server; the sync is a direct encrypted communication between your device and Google's official Drive API.

1.3 Biometric Security Data

Vaultara offers an optional Biometric Lock (Fingerprint / Face Unlock). This authentication is handled entirely by the Android Operating System's BiometricPrompt and hardware Keystore. Vaultara never has access to, nor does it store, your fingerprint or facial biometric data.

1.4 Third-Party SDKs and Services

Vaultara integrates standard industry services for monetization, billing, and stability:

🚫 Zero Ads for Paid Users: Upgrading to Basic, Premium, or Lifetime completely disables Google AdMob. No ad requests or ad identifiers are processed for paying users.

1.5 Data We Never Collect

❌ We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
❌ We do not collect your physical GPS location.
❌ We do not access your contact lists or phone records.
❌ We never transmit your document images or personal reminders to our own servers.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is processed strictly on your device to deliver the app's features:

Displaying, categorizing, and searching your documents, expiries, medicines, and subscriptions.
Triggering local reminder notifications (such as daily 10:00 AM local timezone alerts at 30, 15, 7, 3, 2, and 1 days before expiry/renewal).
Sounding alarm-level notifications for medicine dose times with custom audio.
Exporting documents into formatted PDF files upon your request.
Creating and restoring encrypted .vaultara backup packages.

3. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Vaultara offers subscription plans (Basic Monthly, Premium Monthly with a 7-day free trial) and a Lifetime one-time purchase:

All transactions are processed directly by Google Play. We never view or store your credit card or bank details.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless canceled through Google Play Store at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Google Play Store > Payments & Subscriptions.
Google Play dynamically converts pricing to your local currency in real time.

4. Android System Permissions

SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM	Ensure critical medicine alarms ring precisely at scheduled dose times.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED	Automatically restore your scheduled alarms and notifications when your phone restarts.
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / Photo Picker	Allow you to attach and crop photos for documents and reminders.
USE_BIOMETRIC	Protect app access with Fingerprint or Face Unlock (Premium feature).
INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE	Google Play Billing, AdMob (Free plan), and Google Drive backup sync.

5. Data Retention & User Control

Full Data Ownership: You retain complete ownership of all data entered into Vaultara.
Instant Deletion: Deleting an item in the app immediately removes its records and associated images from your device.
Uninstallation: Uninstalling Vaultara permanently removes all local sandboxed data. To preserve your data, export a manual .vaultara backup or enable Google Drive Sync prior to uninstalling.

6. Children's Privacy

Vaultara is not targeted at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children.

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any modifications will be updated within this in-app document along with an updated "Last Updated" date.
